INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups Black eyed peas
  • Onion 
  • Garlic 
  • Curry leaves
  • 3/4 to 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon  Paprika
  • Chili powder (optional if you want)
  • 3/4 to 1 tablespoon Curry powder
  • Some cinnamon (powder or a piece)
  • Add enough water to cook the beans until they are soft (you can add more water later as needed)
  • 1 to 1.5 cups Coconut milk
  • Some tomatoes (optional)
