Making butter is super simple. You just need Heavy Cream and either a food processor or a KitchenAid mixer. Takes about 3 minutes.
Here is another version using a KitchenAid mixer with the same quick result.
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- Mix for around 3 minutes (until it bunches up and the butter cream separates)
- Strain the butter cream liquid out
- Lump together the butter in plastic wrap or a small loaf pan to get the shape
TIP: (optional) before wrapping it up you can add 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil to the butter. Mix it up good and then put it into a container. This will make the butter shiny and more of a soft butter (margarine) style. Easier for spreading.
