Simple Turkish Chili Sauce
This simple kebab shop style chili sauce is full of fresh chilis and garlic along with a good tang of tomato. It's super quick to make.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Vine tomatoes 
  • 2 Sweet pepper 
  • ½ Bell Pepper 
  • 2 Hot pepper 
  • parsley 
  • 1 Onion 
  • 4 Garlic cloves 
  • 1 Teaspoon salt 
  • 3 Tablespoons lemon juice 
  • 2 ½ Tablespoons olive oil 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Quarter the tomatoes.
  2. Slice up the bell peppers.
  3. Quarter the onion.
  4. Peel the garlic cloves.
  5. Toss everything (except the olive oil) into the blender and turn it on.
  6. Blend for about 2 minutes.
  7. Once blended add the olive oil and stir it in manually.
  8. If you need it to last a few days you'll want to cook it.
  9. Put it in a pan and bring it to a boil and leave it for 5 minutes on high.
  10. Mixing occasionally. Just as though you were making a tomato sauce.
  11. Take it off the heat and let it cool.
  12. Store it in a jar once cool.
  13. Refrigerate and it will last a few days.
