Peanut Butter Balls
This easy Peanut Butter Balls recipe is a delightful blend of sweet and nutty flavors making these a perfect treat and irresistible dessert!

There are two methods presented.  Feel free to Mix and Match!

You can dip them in chocolate, cover with nuts or with sprinkles or all the above.  Be festive and have fun!  They're so easy and NO BAKE!

Method 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup butter, softened (salted or unsalted)
  • 2 ¼ cups powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)
  • Melted chocolate, for dipping or drizzling (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, use a handheld mixer to cream the peanut butter and butter together until well combined. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract (if using) and beat until fully combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  3. Form the batter into tablespoon-sized balls, then place on the baking sheet. Chill for at least 20 minutes before devouring.

 

 

Method 2

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 6 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Melted chocolate, for dipping (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Add the powdered sugar gradually, mixing on low speed until combined. Then increase to medium-high speed and beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour to firm up slightly.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly grease your hands with cooking spray.
  5. Using a small cookie scoop, shape the mixture into bite-sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Chill for about 4 hours, or until firm.
  7. Roll in your favorite toppings (such as crushed nuts, coconut, or sprinkles) or dip in melted chocolate.
  8. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
