  • 4 large tomatoes, diced
  • 1.5 onions, diced
  • 2/3 bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chili pepper
  • Salt, according to your taste
  • 4 sprigs of fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 3 tbsp pomegranate molasses
  • 2-3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 handfuls of crushed walnuts
  • 1/3 nutmeg


  1. Combine tomatoes and onion in a large bowl.
  2. Add salt, cumin, black pepper and chili pepper.
  3. Add garlic, pomegranate molasses, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, mint, walnuts and grate nutmeg.
  4. Gently toss it all together.
  5. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes so the sauces will combine well.
