INGREDIENTS
- 4 large tomatoes, diced
- 1.5 onions, diced
- 2/3 bunch parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp chili pepper
- Salt, according to your taste
- 4 sprigs of fresh mint, finely chopped
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 3 tbsp pomegranate molasses
- 2-3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 handfuls of crushed walnuts
- 1/3 nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
- Combine tomatoes and onion in a large bowl.
- Add salt, cumin, black pepper and chili pepper.
- Add garlic, pomegranate molasses, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, mint, walnuts and grate nutmeg.
- Gently toss it all together.
- Let it sit for 10-15 minutes so the sauces will combine well.
