This simple Pomegranate Syrup Molasses will have you forgetting about every other syrup you have every had.

INGREDIENTS

  • 16 oz Pomegranate juice
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour all ingredients in a pot and turn it up to a medium-high heat.
  2. Once it reaches a rolling boil turn it down to a low-simmer. Stirring occassionally.
  3. When bubbles start forming it is getting close (about 30 minutes total).
  4. When you feel it is starting to thicken up how you like; take it off the burner.
  5. Let it cool enough to pour into a container.
  6. Once it is room temperature you can put the container into the refrigerator.
  7. It will thicken up while it sits in the refrigerator.
  8. In a couple hours you are ready to use it.
