Tacos Stuffed Buns
Tacos Stuffed Buns
Soft, buttery buns stuffed with seasoned taco meat and melty cheese for an easy, portable twist on taco night.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Tube of Grands Biscuits (8 biscuits)
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 1 Jalapeno, diced
  • 2-3 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Chipotle Chili Powder
  • Cotija Cheese
  • 1 Egg, beaten for egg wash
  • Chili Flakes

DIRECTIONS

  • Pre-heat oven to 375°F
  • In a hot pan on medium heat, heat up some oil then toss in your veggies and cook until they soften and get some color
  • Clear out a landing spot in the middle and add a little oil and your garlic, let that cook until fragrant, about 45 seconds, then stir in
  • Add your beef and cook that until browned, then add taco seasoning and chipotle chili powder, stir that in and cook for a few more minutes
  • Once your beef is cooked all the way through, kill the heat and let it cool
  • Separate your biscuts and roll them out until they are thin
  • Put a large spoonful of your filling in the middle of each one, then shove a chunk of cotija cheese in the middle then wrap the edges up and around, then twist and pinch to seal the opening, then flip them over and place on a parchment-lined sheet pan
  • Brush your buns with egg wash and sprinkle chili flakes over the top
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, then let them cool and you’re ready to serve
