BBQ Chicken Legs in the Crockpot (Fall-Off-the-Bone!)
These Crockpot BBQ Chicken Legs are tender, juicy, and coated in a sticky-sweet BBQ glaze. Slow-cooked to perfection, then broiled for a caramelized finish, they’re an easy family favorite that’s perfect for any occasion.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 pounds chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce divided

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place chicken drumsticks in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix brown sugar, black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning in a small bowl. Sprinkle over chicken.
  3. Drizzle honey over the drumsticks.
  4. Pour 1 ½ cups BBQ sauce over chicken, reserving ½ cup for later.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW 5–6 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
  6. Preheat broiler and line a baking sheet with foil.
  7. Transfer chicken to baking sheet and brush with remaining BBQ sauce.
  8. Broil for 2–3 minutes, watching closely until caramelized.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
