For many many years, people have enjoyed he idea of taking a roadtrip and being able to stop along the way at their favorite restaurant. The consistency of brands such as Olive Garden, Applebee's, Cracker Barrel, McDonalds's etc., and yet, over time, and for all sorts of reasons, chain restaurants have started to shrink, or even outright vanish from the national landscape.
