The ceramicist’s ramshackle 16th-century home in Lincolnshire is, she says, “the love of my life”. A wonderfully theatrical setting for her children’s free-range adventures and the bedrock of all her creative endeavors, it is a beautiful, bewitching stage set against which life and art play out in all their mess and magic.
