Southern Style Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese
When preparing bigger meals, you often need to free up some of that valuable oven space, so this slow cooker Southern style macaroni and cheese if a perfect way to do just that.

INGREDIENTS

  • cooking spray
  • 10 ounces macaroni, cooked. ( I use a little less than a 16oz. box of macaroni)
  • 12 ounce can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • dash of pepper
  • two 8 ounce bricks of sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • Paprika, to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray ( you could also use slow cooker liners).
  2. Mix the cooled macaroni, evaporated milk, milk, butter, salt, pepper, eggs and all but 1/2 cup of the grated cheese.
  3. Sprinkle the reserved cheese over the top of the mixture and then sprinkle with paprika.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
