Miley Cyrus Releases Sultry New Single ‘End of the World’
Miley Cyrus has unveiled "End of the World," the lead single from her forthcoming ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, set for release on May 30, 2025. The track debuted alongside a music video featuring Cyrus performing on a smoke-filled stage in an emerald green Mugler dress. The video was co-directed by Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter.

"End of the World" is a disco-inflected anthem that encourages embracing life despite impending doom. The lyrics include lines like, "Let's spend the dollars you've been saving on a Mercedes-Benz / And throw a party like McCartney with some help from my friends," emphasizing a theme of making the most of the present moment.

The song was produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, with contributions from Michael Pollack, Jonathan Rado, and Maxx Morando. It follows the recent releases of "Prelude" and the album’s title track, "Something Beautiful." The album will also be accompanied by a long-form film.

Earlier this year, Cyrus won a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Beyoncé for their collaborative track "II Most Wanted." She continues to build momentum following her successful 2023 album, Endless Summer Vacation, and its chart-topping single "Flowers."

You can get the song or entire album over on Amazon and iTunes.
