Homemade Doritos
Homemade Doritos
You'll be surprised how easy it is to make Doritos. You can also customize them to your own flavors and tastes. This method works whether your method is air fryer or classic oil.

Cool Ranch

INGREDIENTS

  • Corn Tortillas
  • 2 pks ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Start by cutting your tortillas into chip size pieces.
  2. Toss them into a bowl with some oil and make sure they are coated on both sides.
  3. Place chips in a single layer in on your air fryer racks.
  4. Air fr at 400F for about 5 minutes.
  5. While they are cooking, place all of your seasonings into a large freezer bag (or you can use a brown paper bag) and shake to combine. You can also do this in a
  6. bowl, but the bag makes it much easier and less messy.
  7. Take them out. Spray a little cooking spray on them and toss them into the seasoning bag. Toss to coat.
  8. Place them back onto your air fryer trays and air fry at 400F for another minute or two. They may be slightly bendy when you pull them out, but should crisp up as they cool.
  9. Store in an airtight container for about 1 week.

NOTES

  • These can also be deep fried in oil. You would cut your tortillas, fry till crispy and then toss in the seasonings.
  • These can be done in the oven, but you will need to find the cooking instructions for that.
  • Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your taste before tossing the chips in.
