Robbie van Leeuwen is a Dutch musician who was a guitarist, sitarist, background vocalist and main songwriter for multiple Dutch bands, including The Motions and Shocking Blue, with whom he recorded the worldwide hit "Venus" in 1969.
Then of course there is the cover by the popular girl group Banarama in 1986.
