(makes 2 mug pies)

Ingredients:

2 tbsp milk dairy or non-dairy

1 tbsp maple syrup, honey or agave

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp unsweetened applesauce

1/2 cup ground oats or oat flour (50g)

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 small apple, thinly sliced

HOMEMADE APPLE PIE FILLING

4 medium sized apples, peeled and chopped (450g)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

1.5 cups water (360ml)

1 tbsp tapioca starch or cornstarch

1/4 cup date paste (75g)
