PERFECT for Game Day and Oh So Easy!!
INGREDIENTS
- 4 pounds of tenders
- All Purpose seasoning
- Cayenne Pepper
- Chipotle Powder
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (Old Bay or Slap Ya Mama)
- Mix all the above together in a large bowl and let it sit for 5 hours.
- To a large bag, get 4 cups of flour and double (or triple) the seasoning above.
- Dredge chicken and fry in 350 degree oil for 7-9 minutes. Let drain on a wire rack.
SAUCE
- 1 7oz jar of chipotle peppers (in adobo sauce)
- 7 Oz chicken broth
- 1 tbsp Ketchup
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 12 oz of honey (more for a sweeter, stickier sauce)
- Blend chipotles and broth until smooth.
- Drain until the seeds are out.
- Add to a sauce pan.
- Cook for 5 minutes and then add honey.
- Cook until sauce gets to the consistency you like.
- Sauce up the tenders and enjoy!
