This Rasta pasta is creamy pasta tossed with Caribbean style jerk shrimp or chicken and sauteed bell peppers.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups Penne Pasta
- Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Branch and Vine Scallion Olive Oil
- 1 Onion, diced
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 2/3 piece of Red, Yellow, Green Bell Peppers
- ¼ cup White Wine
- 4 tbsp Jerk Seasoning
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 5 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Mozzarella and Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Branch and Vine Black Garlic Sea Salt
- 2 sprigs Scallions, finely chopped
- Parsley to garnish
Shrimp Version
If you don't like shrimp you can substitute it with chicken.
- 4-5 thinly sliced chicken breast
- 1/2 pack, penne pasta shells
- 2 Tbsp, olive oil
- 1/2 green bell pepper,sliced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 orange bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tbsp, garlic-minced
- 2 stalks, scallions-chopped(opt)
- 3-4 cups,Heavy cream
- 4 Tbsps, Jerk seasoning
- 2 Tsps, garlic powder
- 2 Tsps, onion powder
- 2 Tsp, paprika powder
- 1 packet, Sazon seasoning
- 1 Tsp, old bay seasoning
- Pinch of black pepper and salt to taste if needed
Add seasnings to your liking and taste
