Lady Gaga’s historic concert at Copacabana Beach on May 3, 2025 is officially the highest attended concert of all time by a female artist, according to Rio’s City Hall.
With an estimated 2.1 million fans attending Gaga’s MAYHEM show, the show also becomes the biggest show for any artist this century.
Lady Gaga breaks the record from Madonna’s historic Copacabana show in May last year, when 1.6 million fans attended. Rio’s biggest show of all time is Rod Stewart’s New Year’s Eve concert at Copacabana in 1994, with over 3.5 million in attendance.
Lady Gaga will next bring MAYHEM to Singapore this month for a series of stadium shows before embarking on the MAYHEM Ball in July.
