This really could not be simpler. A traditional Argentinian dish. Often served with french fries but in some families mashed potatoes. It was born in Buenos Aires in the 1940s in the kitchens of a small restaurant called Nápoli. Traditionally done with beef (fried steak) but often chicken is substituted as is with many dishes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 bunch of chopped parsley
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Beef or Chicken

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut the meat into thin slices, beat to tenderize.
  2. Pass them through flour, then through the marinade and breadcrumbs.
  3. Fry over medium heat, until golden brown.
  4. Place on a baking sheet, place tomato sauce, cream cheese or mozzarella, and grated cheese on top.
  5. Take to the oven to melt the cheese.
  6. Serve with french fries.
