Hissy Fit Dip
Hissy Fit Dip
Hissy fit dip is a warm, extra-cheesy sausage dip made with cream cheese, sour cream, scallions, and Worcestershire sauce for a savory kick. Perfect for game days, parties, or casual get-togethers, it’s so good you’ll have a fit if you don’t get any. Plus, who can resist the name?

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 block Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1.5 cups pepper jack
  • 1.5 cups Cheddar
  • 1 lb Tennessee Pride (or your favorite sausage)
  • 2 tsp each Garlic & Onion Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Woreshiresauce
  • Green onions

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown the sausage. Cook the Tennessee Pride sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Once it’s cooked through, drain off the excess grease.
  3. Mix the dip. Stir the softened cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth. Mix in the garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Fold in the cooked sausage, shredded pepper jack, shredded cheddar, and sliced green onions. Save a few green onions for topping.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes. Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish and bake uncovered until hot and bubbling around the edges.
  5. Serve warm. Let the dip rest for a few minutes, then sprinkle the reserved green onions on top.
