This is a very light dessert that would be good after a big dinner. It is essentially Kool-Aid flavored whipped cream.

INGREDIENTS

Crust:

  • 2 2/3 cups graham wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter melted (I used salted)
  • Stir ingredients together until crumbs are moistened and press into the bottom and up sides of a springform pan.
  • Chill in the refrigerator.

Filling:

  • 4 envelopes of Kool-Aid (I used Cherry, Grape, Lemonade and Blue Raspberry)
  • 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 Cups of heavy whipping cream

DIRECTIONS

For each layer, do the following:

  1. Stir together the Kool-Aid powder and 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk until powder is dissolved.
  2. Whip 1 cup of whipped cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold in the Kool-Aid mixture into the whipped cream. It is up to you if you add all of it, taste it and see what you think.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the springform pan.
  5. Refrigerate the layer while you prepare the next one.

*NOTE* I added a bit of yellow paste food color to the lemonade layer to achieve a brighter yellow color.

Once all four layers are in the pan, refrigerate for several hours before cutting into it.

Keep refrigerated.

What's your reaction?
