This is a very light dessert that would be good after a big dinner. It is essentially Kool-Aid flavored whipped cream.
INGREDIENTS
Crust:
- 2 2/3 cups graham wafer crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter melted (I used salted)
- Stir ingredients together until crumbs are moistened and press into the bottom and up sides of a springform pan.
- Chill in the refrigerator.
Filling:
- 4 envelopes of Kool-Aid (I used Cherry, Grape, Lemonade and Blue Raspberry)
- 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
- 4 Cups of heavy whipping cream
DIRECTIONS
For each layer, do the following:
- Stir together the Kool-Aid powder and 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk until powder is dissolved.
- Whip 1 cup of whipped cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in the Kool-Aid mixture into the whipped cream. It is up to you if you add all of it, taste it and see what you think.
- Spoon the mixture into the springform pan.
- Refrigerate the layer while you prepare the next one.
*NOTE* I added a bit of yellow paste food color to the lemonade layer to achieve a brighter yellow color.
Once all four layers are in the pan, refrigerate for several hours before cutting into it.
Keep refrigerated.
