Ariana Grande steps through a glowing doorway in a white top hat and tails, ready to give Swarovski’s 2026 holiday campaign the full showbiz treatment. In JOY: The Swarovski Musical, the singer and actress leads a one-minute revue that moves from a grand staircase dance number to a ballet interlude and a burst of pop spectacle.
Directed by Christian Breslauer, the film tips its top hat to Fred Astaire in the opening number and nods to legendary ballerina Margot Fonteyn when Grande trades her tails for a tutu and tiara. An orchestral score shifts from jazzy showmanship to classical elegance as the costumes and sets change around her. Swarovski’s Millenia, Una, Mesmera and Vienna jewelry collections catch the light along the way.
The best joke comes at the curtain call. After playing the leading lady, Grande turns up in the audience, applauds her own performance and gives the camera a wink. In a film full of crystals, pink feathers and velvet curtains, that little wink might be the most Ariana thing about it.
