INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp dried milk
- 5 tbsp Lard/shortening or bacon grease
- 1 cup clean water
DIRECTIONS
- Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl or can
- Mix in lard/shortening/bacon grease with fork.
- Add water, stirring with fork until well mixed.
- Drop from spoon into well greased frying pan.
- Bake quickly in pan on hot coals until one side is browned then turn and finish baking.
- Time of baking approximately 10 minutes. Makes about 12 small biscuits.
