Acrylic Paint with Masking Tape

Creating geometric abstracts is quite easy. You can stick with abstracts or even create something like an animal.

Here is a nice little demo to watch and get an idea for your next project! In this demo John creates a geometric abstract painting on a 30"x30" canvas. To create this painting he uses acrylic paint, brushes and tape.

Here are some other ideas using tape.

So you see. It all depends on where you put the tape lines. How wide it is (you can cut it down or side-by-side to make it wider) OR what shape you cut in it. Like Triangles or circles or whatever. You just need an exacto knife and very carefully change the shape of the tape (or use super small pieces to "build" the shapes).

Depending on how intricate you want it you could get something done quick or take weeks.
