The show digs into the stories and characters of mythologies, both ancient and modern, from all around the world - exploring the origins of these tales and their lasting influence.

The Fates, also known as the Moirai in Greek mythology, are three powerful deities who control the destiny of every living being, including gods and mortals. They are often depicted as three sisters who weave, measure, and cut the thread of life. Their Roman counterparts are known as the Parcae.

The Three Fates:

  1. Clotho (The Spinner) – She spins the thread of life, determining when a person is born.
  2. Lachesis (The Measurer) – She measures the length of the thread, deciding how long a person will live.
  3. Atropos (The Cutter) – She cuts the thread, bringing an individual’s life to an end.

The Fates are considered more powerful than even the Olympian gods, as not even Zeus himself can override their decisions. They are sometimes depicted as old women who work together, weaving the fate of all beings.
