British Vogue presents Naomi Campbell’s Life in Looks, as the English supermodel takes Vogue through her 17 most memorable looks from her career so far — from her first London Fashion Week appearance for Jasper Conran in 1986 (“I was in total awe to be in this show”) to her lingerie-clad turn on the catwalk for Dolce & Gabbana’s autumn/winter 2024 collection (“it had a very Parisian, Guy Bourdin type of vibe”).
Among the highlights in between? Her 21st birthday look for a party at Laura Belle in New York City (“I believe that I was 10 minutes late, and Madonna might have told me off”); the Versace dress she wore to meet Nelson Mandela; the “Models Suck” t-shirt she wore to make a cameo in Spike Lee’s ‘Girl 6’ (“I was a phone sex operator in the movie”); and… her hazmat suit.
