When you press play on Mickey Guyton’s new single Sugar Cookie, you get more than a holiday song — you get a warm hug wrapped in Christmas lights. Released as the lead-off track from her debut seasonal collection Feels Like Christmas, “Sugar Cookie” sets the mood with cozy imagery and tender holiday chemistry. The song — co-written by Kirstin Maldonado of Pentatonix fame — paints a picture of twinkling lights, baked cookies, and romantic nostalgia: “When we bake together … everything is merry and bright.”
Feels Like Christmas, which dropped October 24, 2025, is Guyton’s first full-length holiday album — eight tracks deep, blending original songs like “Sugar Cookie,” “Save A Little Christmas,” and “Mistletoe Kisses” with beloved seasonal covers such as “O Holy Night” and a fresh take on “Do You Want to Build a Snowman.” The result feels like a winter fireside: part heartfelt, part joyful, and all warmth — perfect for cozying up with loved ones while snowflakes (or in Florida, maybe just a chilly breeze) fall outside.
