Jessie Ware is turning up the heat with the brand-new music video for “Sauna,” released today, August 7. The sultry track comes from Ware’s latest album, Superbloom, and now gets a visual every bit as steamy, stylish and unapologetically sensual as the song itself.
Directed by Jordan Rossi, the “Sauna” video takes an ordinary elevator and transforms it into a sweaty, glamorous playground filled with movement, flirtation and desire. As more people pile inside, things become increasingly intimate, creating the feeling of a crowded bathhouse without ever actually stepping inside a sauna. The video features a colorful collection of performers and personalities, including Munroe Bergdorf, Kadiff Kirwan, Luke Day and dancers Jonathan Baker and Theo Maddix.
“Sauna” was already one of the most seductive moments on Superbloom, with its hypnotic groove, lush production and Ware’s effortlessly confident vocals.
