Ed Sheeran is back, and he’s brought the chaos with him. In his latest music video for “A Little More,” Sheeran reunites with Rupert Grint—yes, the same red-haired ringer from the “Lego House” days—for a madcap, deeply emotional visual that blurs the line between satire and sincerity.
The video opens with Grint released from prison, only to be immediately bombarded by a world completely overrun with Ed Sheeran clones. From group therapy meetings to a wedding ceremony, the singer’s face appears everywhere, haunting Grint like a ginger ghost of relationships past. It’s absurd. It’s hilarious. It’s weirdly touching.
But it doesn’t stop there. Sheeran dons over 250 different outfits throughout the video—every single one sourced from second-hand stores or eBay. That includes everything from wedding gowns to cowboy hats, adding a sustainable twist to the spectacle. The fashion is as chaotic as the storyline, and just as fun.
The video was directed by Emil Nava, known for his work with heavyweights like Post Malone and Dua Lipa. Sheeran himself described the video as “pure chaos,” and he’s not kidding. It’s a nostalgic nod to his earlier visuals, but this time with more edge, more humor, and a healthy dose of self-awareness.
Musically, “A Little More” blends bluesy tones with spoken word verses. Co-written with artists like Dave, Cirkut, and Johnny McDaid, the track delivers one of Sheeran’s rawest lyrical punches yet: “Life got better when I lost you, but every day I hate you just a little more.” It's breakup energy with teeth—and fans are eating it up.
This release is part of Sheeran’s upcoming album Play, set to debut on September 12, 2025. Judging by this video, we’re in for an emotional rollercoaster—one where the wardrobe budget was clearly maxed out on wigs and whimsy.
In short: “A Little More” is a lot to take in—but in the best way possible.
