Dua Lipa was born and raised in England, and her birthday is Aug. 22, 1995. The star, whose height is 5'8", is the daughter of Kosovar Albanian parents.
She spent a few years in Pristina, Kosovo, before moving back to London as a teen, and got her start sharing her cover songs on YouTube.
The pop star released her self-titled debut album in June 2017; it peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard 200 on the Feb. 17, 2018-dated chart. Her sophomore album, 2020's 'Future Nostalgia,' was well received, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
The set's singles "Don't Start Now" and "Levitating" went on to become major hits, with both reaching No. 2 on the Hot 100. She's won multiple Grammys, including best new artist in 2019 and best pop vocal album for 'Future Nostalgia' in 2021.
