Emerging like sunrise from Fingal Head, Budjerah — whose rise began with The Voice Australia in 2019 — has dropped a new single titled “Want You Back”.
After leaning into the spotlight with soulful EPs and works like Therapy, Conversations, and his debut EP, this new track marks another chapter in his artistic evolution.
In Budjerah’s own words, releasing “Want You Back” has been emotional — a little “nervous”, even — but it feels like stepping more fully into himself as an artist.
Musically, while there aren’t many reviews yet, fans expect Budjerah’s signature vocals — lush, expressive, soulful — married with thoughtful lyrics. If his recent releases are any guide, the production will likely blend R&B, pop, and touches of his gospel roots in ways that feel personal and expansive.
