It all started with her wanting to wear her old Winnie costume from 1993, but Disney was unable to lend it to her, so she checked on eBay. She was astounded at how many Hocus Pocus costumes, memorabilia, and other pieces of merchandise were for sale because when the film came out almost thirty years ago, it was considered a box office flop. As she noticed though, how it had actually become a Halloween cult classic, she would call up the studio every year! That’s dedication.
Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy loved playing their roles as the Sanderson sisters and were always on board to jump back into it if the opportunity came up. Their favorite part about filming these movies was getting to fly on their broomsticks, mops, and other cleaning supplies!
