Ariana Grande has made her directorial debut with the release of "Brighter Days Ahead," a 26-minute short film co-directed with Christian Breslauer. This film accompanies the deluxe edition of her seventh studio album, "Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead," which was released on March 28, 2025.

In "Brighter Days Ahead," Grande reprises her role as Peaches, a character introduced in the "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" music video. The narrative follows an elderly Peaches undergoing a memory restoration procedure at Brighter Days Inc., allowing her to relive significant moments from her past. The film features six songs from the deluxe album, including "Twilight Zone," "Hampstead," and "Past Life."

The film incorporates cinematic references to movies like "X-Men" and "Minority Report," with nods to elements such as Cerebro and memory sphere storage. Additionally, it includes a black-and-white segment for the song "Hampstead," featuring Grande's father, Ed Butera.

To celebrate the release, Grande announced limited screenings of the short film in select cities, including Boca Raton, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City, scheduled for March 30. Fans were invited to register for attendance, though entry is not guaranteed.

Both the deluxe album and the short film are available now, offering fans a deeper insight into Grande's artistic evolution and personal reflections.
