In a show-stopping moment seen by millions, 11-year-old Jay Ramos-Rivera from Waukesha, Wisconsin, danced onto one of the biggest stages in the world during the Super Bowl halftime show. Performing alongside global superstar Bad Bunny, the young sixth grader proved that talent, dedication, and heart can carry you all the way to football’s grandest night.
Jay has been dancing since he was just two years old and trains at Artistic Edge Dance Centre in Hartland. After submitting a video audition, he was selected as one of only a handful of young dancers to join the halftime performance — a dream opportunity that quickly became a proud moment for his family and community.
When the lights came up and the music started, any nerves disappeared. Jay performed with confidence and energy, representing not only his hometown of Waukesha but also celebrating his Puerto Rican heritage on a global stage.
For this young dancer, the Super Bowl wasn’t just a performance — it was a milestone. And if this moment is any indication, it’s only the beginning of a very bright spotlight.
