The Olympic torch relay for the Paris Games began Tuesday, April 16 at the ancient Olympic site of Olympia, Greece, starting a trek for the Olympic Flame that will last through the July 26 Opening Ceremony.
In a meticulously choreographed ceremony the flame for this summer’s Paris Olympics was lit at the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games in southern Greece.
