How to make very thick and creamy oat milk yogurt. Oat milk yogurt is easy to make and is very inexpensive.
EQUIPMENT
- Blender
- Cheese cloth/nut milk bag/muslin cloth
- Pot
- Instant Pot (yogurt setting for 14 hours)
INGREDIENTS
- A ratio of 2 cups oats to 3 cups water.
- A spoonful of cultured vegan yogurt
- Add-ins optional: coconut milk, vanilla extract, sugar
If you are using something else besides an Instant Pot for incubation, make sure the temperature stays around 110 deg. F (43 deg. C). Be sure to save at least a tablespoon of your finished yogurt to make your next batch. Make your next batch of yogurt within 10 days of your first batch to maintain the yogurt culture.
