Lizzo has just released a new single titled "Still Bad," co-produced with Blake Slatkin and longtime collaborator Ricky Reed. The track features contributions from guitarist Nate Mercereau and drummer Victor Indrizzo.
Interestingly, the song began as a country track but evolved into a funkier sound. Lizzo explained that the song underwent numerous iterations, including indie sleaze, Coachella-inspired, and punk versions, before arriving at its final form.
"Still Bad" follows her February release, "Love in Real Life," which serves as the title track for her forthcoming album, the successor to her 2022 album "Special."
