- Rocks - You could get them at Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, etc...but you can also buy rocks on Amazon
- Liquitex Acrylic Gesso
- Paintbrush for gesso - The exact brush I used is no longer being manufactured, but you can look for any synthetic flat or filbert brush suitable for use with acrylics. Here's an affordable 15-piece brush set
- Paint palette - Any palette will do. (In a pinch, you can use a few pages of a magazine as a makeshift palette, or use the plastic lid from a can of nuts!)
