How To Make Tanghulu
You can really do this with any fruit but here we will just do it with strawberries. Tanghulu is basically candied fruit. So the outside of the fruit has a sugary glass crunch. Like a hardened caramel. Delicious! In this recipe we are NOT using corn syrup.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 gr Sugar ( 1 1/2 cups)
  • 50 gr Water ( 3 tbsp)
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • Red Food Coloring ( optional )
  • Strawberries

 

NOTE: Allow to sit for 10 minutes to harden and enjoy right away! These are meant to be eaten right away.
