How to Make Puerto Rican Coquito (with eggs)
Coquito meaning "Little Coconut" in Spanish is a traditional Christmas drink that originated in Puerto Rico. The coconut-based alcoholic beverage is similar to eggnog, and is sometimes referred to as Puerto Rican Eggnog. Some recipes use eggs while others do not. Depends on your family and which part of the island you come from.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can coconut milk 
  • 1 can cream of coconut 
  • 1 can carnation milk
  • 1 can condensed milk 
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cup Bacardi 
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes
  •  ground cinnamon
