Tote Bag Tutorial: In this video tutorial, we show you how to create a checkerboard tote bag. This is easier to make than you think and you won't have to sew all those little squares together. It is actually made with 8 jelly roll strips plus some fabric for the lining and handles and a bit of interfacing. Perfect for a beginner - a relatively easy tote bag sewing tutorial. The construction is based on the Bargello technique. And so easy to do.

Note: You can really do this with any regular sewing machine as well. The embroidery just makes it tighter and more sturdy/durable.
