Make dinner effortless with this easy crockpot chicken and stuffing dump meal. Using just diced chicken, cream of chicken soup, Stove Top, and butter, it’s the ultimate comfort food for busy weeknights!
INGREDIENTS
- Diced chicken breast: 1.5 to 2 lbs, boneless and skinless
- Cream of chicken soup: 2 cans (10.5 oz each)
- Stove Top stuffing: 1 box (6 oz, Chicken or Herb flavor)
- Butter: 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) melted
- Optional additions: 1/2 cup chicken broth or water to keep the stuffing moist, and 1/2 cup sour cream for extra richness
- Optional Spices: salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, whatever you want
DIRECTIONS
- Layer the chicken: Place your diced chicken breast pieces into the bottom of a 5 to 6-quart slow cooker.
- Add the soup: In a small bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup (and optional sour cream or broth). Spread this mixture evenly over the diced chicken.
- Add the stuffing: Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix evenly over the soup layer.
- Add the butter: Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the dry stuffing.
- Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours. For a slightly firmer stuffing, you can remove the lid for the final 30 minutes of cooking.
