The viral Labubu plush toys are taking over social media with people waiting in hourslong lines across the country to buy them — and some being sold for hundreds of dollars on resale sites.
The dolls were created by Hong Kong designer Kasing Lung and sold by Chinese brand Pop Mart. The sudden craze online is attributed to celebrities like Blackpink’s Lisa, Simone Biles and Emma Roberts flaunting their dolls.
