These homemade wellness shots are a great way to boost your immune system, fight inflammation, nourish your body, and even improve energy levels. They’re packed with antioxidants, antimicrobial properties, Vitamin C, and other health boosting properties.

Best of all, they’re super easy to make, will save you money, and are a lot more fresh than most of the wellness shots you buy at the store. You can prep these wellness shots up to 7 days in advance if stored in the fridge and up to 30 days in advance if stored in the freezer.

As always, consult your doctor.  You might be allergic to some of the fruits or vegetables used in these.

Remember, these don't "cure" you of anything.  They are not a replacement for seeing your doctor.  These will aid in keeping you healthly.  Just like all vitamins and minerals do.  Like that old saying goes 'An apple a day will keep the doctor away'.  They are preventative.

DIRECTIONS

For all wellness shots:

  1. For each wellness shot recipe, add the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

  1. Then, using a nut milk bag, fine mesh strainer, or triple layered cheesecloth, place it into a large bowl and pour the liquid into it. Slowly squeeze all of the juice out until all you're left with is pulp. This can take a few minutes... don't rush it.

  2. Once you've strained all of the juice, transfer it to your 2 oz shot jars. Store in the fridge for up to 7 days and in the freezer for up to 30 days. IMPORTANT: The glass shot jars are not freezer friendly. Only use them if storing in the fridge. Use these 2 oz plastic shot jars if you want to prep more than 7 days worth (these are BPA free and freezer friendly).

  3. Enjoy one shot per day!
