Airy easy chocolate mousse with ONLY 2 ingredients. Ready in 5 minutes or less. The perfect chocolate-lover quick fix!
INGREDIENTS
- Whipping cream - 1/2 cup
- Dark chocolate - 1/4 cup
DIRECTIONS
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second intervals until smooth.
- In a separate bowl (chilled preferred), whip up the whipping cream.
- Add melted chocolate to the whipped cream and whip further until soft peaks.
- Using a spoon or piping bag put it into desserts bowls. Enjoy!
TIPS
- To speed up the process you could use a container of chilled whipped topping instead of the heavy whipping cream. Not frozen or liquid. Chilled/solid like you would put on top of iced cream or a cake. It's a slightly different texture BUT even quicker.
- To kick it up you could put the mixture into dessert cups. Here are some options: Option 1 and Option 2.
