It is the album that sold us on Anastasia. What a voice and what a talent. She beats any one singer in America today in my book. Don't know why she isn't more popular. They adore her in Asia/Australia, go figure. This isn't her only good album, but is is my favorite because of "You'll never be Alone". Awesome.

As fun as this album is, I think the best song is "Overdue Goodbye." It's a great song to give you strength after a breakup, very empowering.

I was not personally introduced, of course, but on Annie Lennox's latest, she gives credit to Anastacia as one of the gifted artists that sings with her in the song "Sing". I imagined that Annie Lennox would only invite, admire, and credit someone with a wonderful soulful voice like hers, and although she is no Annie Lennox, she does have the soulful, smooth, rhythmic voice I hoped she was. I wish there were some newer releases, but this is worth buying if you enjoy strong female vocalists.

Why is she not more popular in the United States? Anastacia's voice is amazing and the songs are all very well written and produced. Stand outs on this release are, "You'll Never Be Alone, One Day In Your Life, I Dreamed You." She is just incredible!
