This album isn't like Ronald's others, where he's known for his awesome keyboard work and solos that run by you faster than you can comprehend. However this album is still great on its own, I think it's good to take a step in a different direction on the occasion. This album is much more tame and lounge feeling, it also gives me a "cool" winter-y feeling, maybe it's the mastering combined with the usage of video-game-like bleeps and bloops. Whatever it is, I don't regret buying it at all, good work RJ.

If you're looking for improv fueled face melting jams like disorganized fun, you won't find it here. Overall this is an excellent album filled with slow relaxing bed time jams. Beautiful and fulfilling. In line with his past two albums. You won't need to manage your blood pressure to listen to this one

Jenkees never disappoints... put this album on and regardless of what you are doing it will intantantly become more fun. Buy this album (and buy all the older ones if you don't have them). Love the vocals in Alive!

RJ keeps getting better and better. CD #5 here has some slightly different flavors, but is still more of the same energetic & emotional soundscape/adventures that Jenkess is so gifted at crafting. The songs are unmistakably RJ, but as always, his songs never sink into the indistinguishable mish-mash of tracks that plague many mediocre electronic releases. None of that here. I suppose it's conceivable that a more enjoyable electronic album will drop this year, but I won't be holding my breath. I'm not sure why this album is listed as Hip-hop/Rap. It's still quite clearly Electronic, like all of this other music. So, if you haven't sampled the songs for yourself, don't be decieved by iTunes mis-labeling.
