Bakery Style Red Velvet Box Cake Cookies
A quick and easy cookie recipe always comes in handy during the holidays or any day! This box cake mix cookie hack is a fail proof recipe that anyone can pull off.


  • 1 15oz box of Red velvet cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) of melted butter @ room temperature 
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (*save some to place on top of the cookie dough scoops)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350
  2. Mix the ingredients and fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. Scoop dough onto parchment covered cookie sheet
  5. Bake 10-12 minutes.
  6. Allow the cookies to rest on the baking sheet for 10 minutes. They might be too soft but no worries, they’re still cooking and will solidify as they cool down further.
  7. Transfer them to a cooling rack.
  8. For best results, make cookies hours ahead to allow them set perfectly. Enjoy.
