I love that she goes back to her roots and isn't afraid to leave behind the modern country and stick with traditional. This album was so underrated and should have been so successful as Kellie brings back the style of women who came before her, like Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, and Loretta Lynn.
NOTHING BUT LOVE

this album needed to happen. while i like many of today's country artists, i've become disenchanted with country radio over the last ten years for narrowing down their playlists, and dropping artists like Patty Loveless & early Lee Ann Womack, to make more room for the artists & songs that we now also hear on pop and AC stations. this album by Kellie Pickler is easily the truest country music album by a female since Loveless, & the first 2 albums by Lee Ann Womack. But i guess so-called 'country radio' will just go on ignoring REAL country. It's a shame that some of today's artists like Kellie, Sunny Sweeney, and Julie Roberts have gotten the shaft so people like Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, and Taylor Swift can be continually shoved down our throats.
