Love all these songs! A shame REO doesn’t play them live anymore except Can’t Fight This Feeling!

Boy did these guys get soft. Even for the 80's this sends the cheese meter over the top. I remember when I Can't Fight This Feeling was new and even then it was like what the hell is this? Soft, cheesy, pop nonsense.

I think even though most of the 80 and 90 reo speedwagon albums were considered pop rock they still managed to record tracks on each post seventies album like Live every moment and many others my personal favorite is live every moment it was also at the end of my favorite family movie in recent years grown ups two but I was into these guys way before that and as well as that song this is a must have song for your reo speedwagon iTunes collection
  • Possibly REO's best post-TunaFish album -- but that's not saying much.

After the great, high energy album "You Can Tune a Piano, but You Can't Tuna Fish", REO turned to sappy ballads. Although somebody obviously liked these because they sold well, I found them somewhere between boring and annoying, and lost interest in the band. On this album ("Wheels Are Turnin'"), the band tried to keep the audience that it gained with ballads (by including another ballad, "Can't Fight This Feeling"), but also bring back some of its old fans by bringing back the old energy from "Tuna Fish" and earlier albums. Unfortunately, although this is partly successful, and this album is probably the best post-Tuna album the band made, the album is still not very good. The album simply lacks the creativity and intensity of their earlier work. Cronin's fame seems to have gone to his head, and he seems more interested in listening to himself sing than in writing or co-writing good songs. His voice also dominates the songs, rather than blending into them as it did in most of "Tuna Fish". I haven't heard this entire album, but the parts that I have heard merely leave me with a desire to go back and play the band's earlier work rather than listen to this album.

I only knew of three tracks on this album when I bought it and had also seen the videos, but when I listened to the whole album I was totally blown away with everything that was recorded. It was hard to pick favorites since the music was terrific but I narrowed it down to Rock N' Star and Thru the window. I never get tired of playing REO Speedwagon.

REO Speedwagon is one of the greatest and underrated bands of all time. Why aren't they in the rock and roll hall of fame? I mean they are still putting out great albums and even without gary they still do awesome. Peace I'm out
